Weather Update in Bihar on Eid
Today, on the occasion of Eid, Bihar is experiencing a change in weather with the possibility of rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning in seven districts. A yellow alert has been issued for these districts. At the same time, there is also an increase in temperature, raising concerns of a heatwave.
Weather Alerts in Specific Districts
Today, yellow alerts have been issued for Bhagalpur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada, Jamui, and Banka, where strong winds are expected along with lightning and light rain. The rest of the districts are expected to remain dry. The maximum temperature in Bihar is forecasted to be between 36°C to 38°C, with a possible increase of 2-3°C in the coming days.
Temperature Records and Property Prices
On April 10, Bihar recorded its highest maximum temperature of 40.4°C in Sheikhpura and Jiradei. The night temperatures also varied, with the lowest recorded at 16.8°C in Sitamarhi and the highest at 24.4°C in Patna. Additionally, property prices in a city in Bihar have soared up to 1 crore for a single kattha.
