It is said that during a meeting with the Chief Minister and party leaders of the coalition parties on Wednesday evening, it was discussed to include a maximum of 12 BJP and 8 JDU MLAs/Members in the cabinet. Preparations are underway based on this decision. While the JDU’s list has been finalized by Nitish Kumar, the BJP’s list needs to be approved by the Delhi headquarters. If an agreement is reached on the list, the cabinet expansion could happen today. If there is no delay due to disagreements during ‘Kharmas’, the expansion program could also take place on Friday. The BJP is expected to focus on backward classes and Dalits in this cabinet expansion.
